Clouds, light winds and showers are expected to move into the region Wednesday morning and afternoon. Showers will become more scattered later in the day and continue into Thursday. Thunderstorms are possible from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning across parts of the Central Coast, including areas near the Plaskett and Timber fire burn scars. While the expected rainfall could provide some beneficial moisture, locally heavy downpours could pose a concern for runoff and debris flows in and around recently burned areas. A cooling trend will continue through the end of the week, followed by a return to warmer, drier conditions next weekend.
